A Life Dedicated
to Service.
Danielle Romero is a longtime Montebello resident, U.S. Army veteran, community advocate, and public servant. She lives in Montebello with her husband and three sons and currently serves District 4 on the City Council and as Mayor Pro Tem.
Before joining the Council, Danielle represented District 4 on Montebello’s Traffic and Safety Commission. Her commitment to service began at just 17 years old when she enlisted in the U.S. Army as a unit supply specialist and trained as a combat lifesaver.
Continuing a Lifetime
of Community Service.
Her commitment to service extends far beyond elected office. Through veterans’ advocacy, community leadership, and volunteer work, she has continued finding ways to support the people and families who call Montebello home.
Supporting Veterans & Their Families
Today, Danielle serves as an Accredited American Legion Veteran Service Officer, helping veterans and their families navigate benefits, housing, employment, and other important resources.
Leadership in the Veteran Community
Her leadership has included serving as the first female Honor Guard Captain for the Montebello American Legion, along with additional leadership roles within the American Legion community.
Investing in the Next Generation
Beyond veterans’ advocacy, Danielle has volunteered with local youth programs, served as a youth soccer assistant coach, and worked as a youth group ministry leader.
Whether serving her country, supporting veterans, volunteering in the community, or representing residents at City Hall, Danielle remains focused on putting service before politics and helping Montebello families succeed.
